Westport Self-Catering Suites provides modern accommodation in the heart of Westport, designed to offer guests a seamless stay experience through direct bookings and automated check-in.

When the project began, the property already existed, but the brand identity, website, and booking infrastructure needed to be built and aligned to support digital growth and a better guest journey.

Brand Strategy & Positioning

Before design began, we defined the foundation of the brand and the overall guest experience.

This included identifying:

– who the accommodation is designed for (tourists, couples, and visitors coming to Westport)
– the type of experience the suites should communicate: simple, modern, and comfortable
– what makes the property different from standard booking platforms
– how the brand should feel: clean, welcoming, and trustworthy

Based on this work, we created a clear messaging and positioning framework before building the digital presence.

The brand identity and website experience were then designed around this strategy.

The goal was to create a modern hospitality brand that builds trust and encourages direct bookings.

Brand Identity & Logo Concept

The visual identity was designed to reflect both the location and the spirit of Westport.

The icon combines two elements connected to the region:

– Croagh Patrick, the iconic mountain that defines the landscape of Westport
– The traditional scallop shell, a symbol associated with pilgrimage routes and travel

By merging these elements, the symbol represents journey, destination, and place, connecting the accommodation with the wider story of the area.

The result is a logo that feels:

– simple and recognizable
– connected to the local identity
– modern and timeless
– adaptable across digital and physical applications

Brand System & Visual Language

Beyond the logo, we developed a complete visual system to ensure the brand remains consistent across the entire digital experience.

This included:

– a clear and minimal colour palette inspired by natural tones
– modern typography designed for clarity and readability
– consistent icon and graphic usage
– a visual style that supports both the website and marketing materials

The result is a brand identity that feels clean, professional, and aligned with the hospitality experience.

Booking System & Automation Infrastructure

To streamline operations and improve the guest experience, we built a fully automated booking and access system.

We implemented:

– direct online booking system
– BMS integration for booking management
– automated booking confirmations and notifications
– guest communication workflows
– calendar synchronization and reservation management

We also integrated a smart door access system that automatically generates a QR code for entry when a guest completes their booking.

Guests receive their access details via email, allowing them to check in smoothly without manual coordination.

The platform is hosted on a secure private server with advanced protection, including:

– malware monitoring
– daily backups
– performance optimization

This infrastructure ensures secure bookings, automated guest access, and reliable website performance.

Website & SEO Foundation

We designed and developed a modern website built to support direct bookings and strong online visibility.

The goal was to create a fast, clean, and user-friendly platform where visitors can easily explore the suites and book their stay.
